
Kadija Hilowle plants cucumber seeds on her farm lot in Lisbon on Monday. Hilowle is a native of Kenya, where she raised cows, goats, camels, chickens and sheep. She moved to Lewiston in 2005 and started growing sweet corn and vegetables on her lot at the Packard-Littlefield Farm.
