The Silhouette Project was started by Linda Lajoie after she lost her son, Dustin, a veteran, to suicide in December 2014. The project is an effort to raise awareness about the suicide risk faced by military veterans and spread the word about resources available to support veterans and their families, and to underscore veterans’ strength and resilience.
