
The Jay-Livermore Falls Lions Club hosts Don Simoneau, left, American Legion Boys State chairman, at a recent meeting in Livermore Falls. After a presentation on the operation of Boys State, Lions president, right, presented Simoneau with a check in the amount of $300 to sponsor a Spruce Mountain High School student to the 2017 Boys State. The Lions Club sponsors a participant each year. The Jay-Livermore Falls Lions Club meets at 6 p.m. the first and third Tuesday at the Chuck Wagon Restaurant on Depot Street. FMI: 207-897-4444.
