TEMPLE — Voters at a special town meeting Tuesday evening approved $45,000 for road repairs.
They also discussed the pros and cons of having tax bills sent every six months instead of once a year.
If voters agree to the change, half of property taxes would be due in May and the other half in November. However, people could pay the entire bill in May.
The 3 percent discount for early payment would still be offered.
Related to tax payments, it was announced that two homes are in foreclosure for unpaid taxes.
