LEWISTON — Victor W. Hamel Jr., 87, passed away May 17 at CMMC.

He was born in Hampden, Feb. 15, 1930, the son of Victor W. and Lillian (Hargreaves) Hamel.

He is survived by his daughters, Vickie Swanson of Mechanic Falls and Kimberly Nickey and her husband, Steven, of Leeds; and four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
