Lexis Lamothe, 16, reported missing by her family, contacted family Saturday afternoon and is safe. She was last seen on Thursday.
AUBURN — An Auburn teen last seen on Thursday has contacted her family and is safe, her father said.
Police confirmed Saturday they received a missing person’s report from the family of Lexis Lamothe, 16. Police believed she may be heading south.
Her father John was concerned Lexis was going to meet an older man, but he said social media efforts spreading the word on her missing status may have prompted her to call a family member.
