BETHEL — An undisclosed amount of cash was stolen from Northeast Bank at 11 Main St. in Bethel on Saturday morning.
Oxford County Sheriff’s Office officials said the suspect entered the bank around 11 a.m. and presented a note to the teller on duty, demanding cash.
The suspect was given an undisclosed amount of money and made off on foot. A K-9 track was conducted by the Maine State Police.
The incident is still under investigation.
No one was injured, and officials said there is no threat to public safety at this time.
