Family Book Bananza
NEW VINEYARD — The New Vineyard Public Library will host Family Book Bonanza from4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, June 1.
This event features a childrens’ book give-away, free pizza, parental information sessions, iPad tips and tricks, and visiting author Nancy Prince.
Busy bees dollar day
POLAND — Busy Bees dollar day will take place from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, June 3, at the Poland town hall.
There will be cupcake decorating, face painting, and a chance to meet Spiderman, as well as a huge clothing sale.
Everything at the event is $1. Proceeds will help Poland fire victims.

NPFGA offering weekly trap shooting
PARIS — The Norway-Paris Fish and Game Association will offer trap shooting from 5 p.m. until dark on Thursdays, weather permitting, at 744 Buckfield Road.
Anyone who would like learn about trap shooting should inform the club. There is a voice activated range, and instructors will be on sight.

Pine Tree Quilters Guild meeting
NORWAY — The Pine Needles chapter of the state wide Pine Tree Quilters Guild meets from 9 a.m. to noon on Thursdays in the community room of the Norway Town Office, year around.
Both hand and machine quilters are welcome.
There is a schedule of optional activities such as occasional road trips, group projects and monthly trips out for lunch.
