
Under the supervision of the Maine Department of Transportation, a crew from T Buck Construction of Auburn jackhammers the crumbling concrete on the sidewalk of the bridge spanning the Little Androscoggin River in downtown Mechanic Falls on Tuesday afternoon. The sidewalk resurfacing work is one of many maintenance projects the state agency is doing this summer and fall.
