LEWISTON — Kevin Gagnon, 46, of Auburn passed away on Sunday, June 4, at CMMC with his loving family by his side. He was born in Lewiston on March 7, 1971, to Roger and Suzan (Charron) Gagnon.

Kevin grew up in Lewiston and attended St. Joseph’s School, then went on to St. Dominic Regional High School, Class of 1989. He furthered his education by attending the University of Maine at Augusta.

Kevin worked for 22 years for the phone company as a central office technician in Portland.

In 2000, he married his high school sweetheart, Janice Bushey, and they made their home in Auburn and started their family. Jasmine and Kelsey gave Kevin some of the best memories a father could have, including trips to Walt Disney World, Carlo’s Bakery and hockey games. Kevin loved hockey and enjoyed playing as well as watching. He was known for his kindness, and here are a few of his favorite quotes:

“I only think about hockey on the days ending in Y,” and, “How much time is left?”

Kevin enjoyed his mother’s special stuffing on the holidays and also his special trips with his mother-in-law, Florence. Concerts with Jason were something he always looked forward to. He also enjoyed late-night calls for many years with his Uncle Dick and A.J. Kevin’s years in Scouts with his father helped make him into the man he was, but Kevin always had a special place in his heart for his mom.
