RUMFORD — Thomas E. Sinclair, 89, died Wednesday, June 15, at the Rumford Community Home. He was a resident of Ledgeview St. in Mexico.
Born in Mexico on June 20, 1927, he was a son of William and Mertie (Cole) Sinclair. Tom graduated from Mexico High School and served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He worked as a crane operator for Boise Cascade paper mill in Rumford. He enjoyed riding his Harley, having taken a few trips across the country on it.
He was married in Mexico on April 11, 1959, to Marion Poland who died in Mexico on Aug. 22, 2010.
Survivors include two sons, Ricky Sinclair and wife, Maria, of Peru and Wayne Sinclair of Mexico; three sisters, Pauline Gotto, Barbara Bernard and Joyce Stewart, all of Mexico; grandchildren, Stephen Jeselskis and Ricki Leigh Sinclair; great-grandchildren, Ayva and Isla Jeselskis and Haleigh, Aubree and Ryan Hutchins.
