AUBURN — The Auburn Democratic City Committee will meet from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, June 27, at Auburn Hall.
In addition to committee business, representatives from Maine All Care will present the documentary “Now Is the Time,” a short movie about universal health care.
This is the final meeting before the summer recess in July and August.
Parking is available in the garage directly behind Auburn Hall. Use the courtyard entrance and take the elevator to the second floor.
All Auburn Democrats are encouraged to attend the meetings on the fourth Tuesday of each month. Refreshments are served and visitors are welcome. Attendees are asked to bring a nonperishable food item for the pantry at the Trinity Jubilee Center. Call 740-0113 for more information.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
