LIVERMORE — Selectpersons on Tuesday night appointed members to town boards and committees.
Budget Committee member Christina Quirrion has announced she is stepping down, according to Administrative Assistant Amy Byron.
Katherine Perkins, who has served on the Planning Board, was appointed in Quirrion’s place, Byron said.
One of two vacant seats on the Regional School Unit 73 board was filled by Sara Chamberlain-Hughes in the June election. The selectpersons appointed Shannon McDaniel, who received 19 write-in votes in that election, to the other seat. McDaniel will serve a one-year term.
Newly elected Selectperson Scott Richmond said he wanted to serve on the Road Committee and was appointed.
The board reappointed all other members serving on boards and committees. A list of committees and members is found in the June 2017 Annual Report.
There are two vacancies on the Board of Appeals and three on the Recreation Committee. Anyone wishing to serve is asked to contact Byron at 207-897-3207.

We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
