SUMNER — The Congregational Church of East Sumner will hold vacation Bible school for children kindergarten to sixth grade from 9 a.m. to noon Monday to Friday, July 24 to 28, at 50 Main St., Route 219.

The Senior Youth Group from Hope Presbyterian Church in Virginia will lead activities under adult supervision. Each day will include Bible skits, crafts, recreation, music and snacks, with a final program on Friday evening. The theme for the week is “Christ, our center.”

AUBURN — Climbing Mountains Vacation Bible School will run from 9 a.m. to noon Monday, July 31, to Friday, Aug. 4, at New Life Stevens Mills Church, 57 Manley Road.

Discussion will center on when the Ten Commandments can help and when they are unable to help. Children ages 5 to 10 will also participate in outdoor games, crafts and music. Snacks will be provided.

On the final day, there will be an ice cream party and a climbing wall.

AUBURN — Faith Baptist Church will offer vacation Bible school from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, Aug. 1 to 5, at 43 Washington St. North.

Classes will be for children ages 4 through 12. The school’s theme will be “Over the Moat — Drawbridge to the King!”

This will be an adventure at the courtyard of the castle where kids will learn about David and his medieval adventures, meet Finnigan Fox and his friends, and hear music, see puppets and skits, participate in games, have snacks fit for a king.

LEEDS — Leeds Community Church will have a vacation Bible school, Camping in God’s Backyard, from 3 to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, Aug. 7 to 11, at 123 Church Hill Road.

Kids will learn about God’s creatures and can make friends, eat food, and participate in crafts and games.
