New Auburn Seniors plan dinner
AUBURN — The New Auburn Senior Citizens dinner will be served at 11 a.m. Monday, July 24, at Sacred Heart Church. The meal will be chicken pot pie from Kentucky Fried Chicken.
Dinner tickets, which cost $6 each, must be purchased prior to the dinner in order to help with planning.
Scholarship tourney Aug. 23
POLAND — The Lewiston Auburn Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and the Central Maine Community College Foundation will be host a golf tournament to fund scholarships for students at Central Maine Community College and regional high schools.
The 18th annual Chip Morrison Scholarship Scramble tournament will be held Wednesday, Aug. 23, at Poland Spring Resort, 640 Maine St.
