NORWAY — Announcement is made of the engagement and forthcoming marriage of Ashley Helen Linscott and Ryan Newton Pierce Plouffe, both of Norway.

Miss Linscott is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Whiting of Waterford and Paul Linscott of Oxford. She is a 2012 graduate of Gorham High School and a 2015 graduate of Southern Maine Community College, with a degree in early childhood education.

Mr. Plouffe is the son of Theresa Pierce of Hollis and Bob Plouffe of Buxton. He is a 2012 graduate of Bonny Eagle High School and a 2016 graduate of Southern Maine Community College with a degree in computer repair and computer security.

The couple is planning an Aug. 12 wedding at 11 a.m. at Point Sebago.
