LIVERMORE — Administrative Assistant Amy Byron said the Highway Department will begin work on Robinson Road between Gibbs Mill and River roads on Wednesday, Aug. 16.
The section from Gibbs Mill Road to Federal Road (Route 4) isn’t included.
“Expect delays as they remove trees and ledge,” she said.
Last week, selectpersons accepted Bruce A. Manzer’s bid of $298,465 for the work. It was the only bid received.
Highway Foreman Roger Ferland said the total cost may be adjusted later, depending on the amount of gravel needed.
Voters at the annual town meeting in June approved raising and appropriating $350,000 for capital road improvement projects.
