AUGUSTA — Ernestine D. Ohler, 98, died Sunday, August 20, at the Maine Veterans’ Home.
She was born in Livermore Falls on November 25, 1918 the daughter of Joseph Ernest “Pete” and Laura (Ouellette) Dumais. She graduated from Livermore Falls High School in 1936 at the top of her class.
Ernestine is survived by her stepchildren, Jeffrey Ohler and his wife, Patricia, of Tenants Harbor, and Priscilla Penny Markley and her husband, Reed, of Winthrop; her sister, Camille Brown and her husband, James, of Rio Rancho, NM along with several stepgrandchildren, great-stepgrandchildren, nieces and nephews.
