OXFORD — Cedric Palmer Jr., 26, of Otisfield, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, Aug. 24.
He was born in Bangor on July 26, 1991, the son of Cedric Palmer Sr. and Theresa Lanpher. He received his education through the Job Corps. He played baseball in the town of Oxford and was inducted into the Babe Ruth Hall of Fame when he was 15 years old. He had been employed as an arborist for Lucas Tree, Q Team, Marston’s Tree Service and most recently at TLC.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, working with his chain saw, Crown and Pepsi and hanging with his family and friends by the fire. He also enjoyed mudding, driving and playing pool. He was a very loving and caring young man.
He is survived by his mother, Theresa Lanpher; his father, Cedric Palmer Sr.; his brother, Curtis Palmer; his grandmother, Bernetta; his grandfather, Albert; his great-grandmother, Terry; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
