Lewiston firefighters responded to a fire at 8 Noble St. in Lewiston on Friday afternoon. Crews knocked down the flames within minutes of arriving at the house between Webster Street and Boston Avenue. A fire investigator said a small blaze had ignited in the garage at about 3 p.m. The cause was under investigation later Friday night.
