CINCINNATI, Ohio — Burke Inc. of Cincinnati announces that Diane Surette, formerly Diane Langlois of Lewiston, has been promoted to the newly created position of chief client officer.
Surette’s position aligns three departments — client services, account management and decision sciences — to bring greater value to clients through improved collaboration, communication and cohesion.
Before joining Burke, Surette was a consultant with Organizational Effectiveness Consultants. She joined Burke in 1996 and was promoted to SVP, client services, in 2004, where she managed a large group of account executives. Four years later, she was promoted to executive vice president with responsibility for leading the entire client services function.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
