A new entertainment stage is under construction at the Oxford Fairgrounds. The 24-foot-deep by 34-foot-wide stage is being built by Bancroft Construction Co., KBS Builders, Schiavi Custom Builders and Record Building Supply using donated labor and materials. The stage is expected to be completed in time for the start of the Oxford Fair on Wednesday, Sept. 13, and will host 17 musical acts over four nights, including Montgomery Gentry, Chad Porter and Skosh.
