OXFORD — A Heartsaver CPR and first aid class is set for 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 21, at the Oxford Advent Christian Church, 1130 Main St.
Participants will learn basic first aid and adult, child and infant CPR, and how to use an automated external defibrillator. Those who complete the class will receive a two-year certification in accordance with the American Heart Association.
The certificate course is accepted for day/child care providers, loggers, guides, teachers and other nonhealth care related professions.
Groups may request to schedule a class at their convenience.
Health care basic life support CPR recertifications are done as needed one-on-one.
