I have seen the news about evacuating the cities in Florida for the storms but I can’t understand why are they not using the other side of the highway — all the traffic is going out, none coming in — so utilize the other side. That would relieve a lot of stress on both drivers and traffic.

Editor’s note: The Miami Herald carried a brief statement from Florida Gov. Rick Scott: “We still need southbound lanes to get needed gas and supplies down to shelters and families that need it in the southern parts of the state.”
