AUBURN — Greta M. Paradis, 91, passed in peace on Saturday, Sept. 16.
Greta was born in Guerrette. Her interests included fishing, hunting, sewing, cooking, bingo and playing cards. She simply enjoyed her time with her family and friends. She may have been tiny and frail, but she sure enjoyed her side trips to the casino and outings with her family.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of over 50 years, Roger; her loving son, Rodney; her mother, Ozithe Martin; her father, Eddie Martin; her two half-sisters, Gertrude Levesque and Sophie Pellitier; and her sister, Alfreda Marquis.
Greta also leaves behind two surviving children, Danny Mark Paradis and spouse, Brenda, of Bowdoin, and Audrey Schwartz and her spouse, Gary, of Boston, Mass. Greta was the proud grandmother of Gary, Mackenzie, Erin, Tyson and Suzette. Greta has seven great-grandchildren, Jacob, Cody, Hunter, Jerra, Bailey, Fiona and a new blessed addition, Max Maurice. She is also survived by nieces; nephews; and other relations. Greta also leaves behind two dear and loving friends, Lou and Nancy LePage.
Her infectious smile and laughter will forever be etched in all our hearts. Yes, Mom, I will miss you.
