LEWISTON — October meetings for veterans groups have been announced. Meetings are held at the Lewiston Armory unless otherwise noted.

Meetings include: 

L & A Veterans Council: 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 5.

Franco American Veterans, Post 31: 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 10.

VFW Post 9150: 6 p.m. Monday, Oct. 16. 

American Legion Post 22: 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 19.

The Lewiston Veteran Clinic will give free flu shots to veterans from 10 to 11 a.m. Mondays and Tuesdays and 2 to 3 p.m. Wednesdays and Fridays on Challenger Road.

A Veterans Day Ceremony will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 11, at the Lewiston Armory.
