LEWISTON — The next Holy Cross Knights of Columbus Take-Out Beans will raise money to purchase coats for kids. The coats will be distributed locally.

The beans will be served from 3 to 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 7, at the Holy Cross church hall, 1080 Lisbon St.

Prices range from $3 for a pint of beans to $10 “a la carte.”

Orders may be called in afternoon the day of the event.

LEWISTON — The Calvary United Methodist Church of Lewiston will hold its annual turkey dinner and silent auction Saturday, Oct. 7. Those attending should use the garden entrance on Bartlett Street.

The viewing for the auction will begin at 4 p.m. and dinner will be served at 5 p.m. Some tickets may be available at the door. It is not necessary to purchase a ticket to participate in the auction.

PARIS — The Paris Fire Department Auxiliary will serve a corned beef and cabbage dinner at 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 7, at the Paris Fire Station on Western Avenue.

RANGELEY — The Rangeley Congregational Church Mission Board will host the annual turkey supper from 5 p.m. until sold out on Saturday, Oct. 7. The supper will be held at “The Barn” on High Street.
