I had the pleasure of working with Alicia Rea in a community event series which partnered with local businesses to raise funds for non-profits. Rea is dedicated, responsive, brings abundant energy to her commitments and possesses an obvious passion for the city of Lewiston and its bright future. I have also seen Rea serve many other community organizations, such as the board for the Lewiston Education Fund.
In addition to her career and volunteer commitments, Rea is also working toward her graduate degree in public policy. What brings me hope is one of Rea’s stated policy priorities for Lewiston is safe housing. I have seen up-close the urgent need for more safe housing in this community and, thankfully, the need continues to see a groundswell of local action. Rae’s support will build on this progress.
I hope others will join me in supporting Alicia Rea for Lewiston City Council, Ward 3.
