There are not many elections that I can get excited about, but I am this year.
Tom Shannon, who has done yeoman service on the Lewiston School Committee for a number of years, is running for the Ward 7 City Council post.
I am excited because Shannon has always looked after the taxpayer and, at the same time, has advocated for necessary services for the city’s most vulnerable students. He has come up with many innovative ideas for the education of Lewiston’s youth, and I know he will be coming up with creative solutions to the challenges this city faces.
As a voter in Ward 7, I am excited and honored to cast my vote for Tom Shannon for Lewiston City Council.
