LITCHFIELD — Betty Jo Wade, 69, of Litchfield, died unexpectedly Monday, Nov. 6, at her home.
She was born in Farmington on May 8, 1948, the daughter of Cecil and Celia (Vose) Sawtelle.
Betty Jo was predeceased by her parents; and her brother, Alan Sawtelle.
She is survived by her husband, Elton Wade; her daughter, Amanda Smith and her husband, David Jr. of Litchfield; her son, Nathanial Wade and his wife, Irene, of Manchester; her brothers, William Sawtelle and his wife, Charlotte of Sidney and David Sawtelle and his wife, Denise Deschaine of Berlin, N.H.; her sisters, Janice Sawtelle Enos and her husband, Michael of Orrington, Julie Sawtelle of Monmouth and Jayne Sawtelle-Quinn and her husband, Michael of Portland; her grandchildren, Michael Sirois and his girlfriend, Christina Starr, Steven Sirois, Lauren Sirois and boyfriend, Tony McIver, Sarah Talbot and her husband, Devin, Haley Smith, Hayley Quinn Wade and David A. Smith III; her great-grandchildren, Wyatt Talbot, Marshall McIver and soon to arrive, Ella Rae Talbot; as well as numerous nieces, nephew, cousins, and in-laws.
