AUGUSTA — Matthew Ronald Michaud, 29, of Lewiston, passed away Sunday, Nov. 5. He was born in Lewiston on Jan. 7, 1988.

Matthew attended Lewiston High School. He welded as a fabricated welder for Walko and Atlantic Construction Services. Matt had a smile that would light up a room. He enjoyed being around people he cared about the most and being an uncle meant the world to him. Matt was passionate about making other people happy, along with welding, snowboarding, hiking, disc golfing and he loved pushing the limits with his motorcycle. He was an avid NASCAR fan and loved Kyle Busch.

Matthew is survived by his father, Ronald Michaud; his sister, Amy Michaud and her two children, Jayden and Jaylee, who loved their Uncle Matt so much; his sister, Brianna Leclair and her two children, Kaden and Emily; his brother, Kyle Stretton and his two children, Maleah and Norah; he was loved by his (Auntie) Debbie Beaulieu; his cousins, Brittany Bergeron and Olivia Brooks; as well as six uncles on his father’s side; and five uncles and two aunts on his mother’s side; he was cherished and loved by his girlfriend, Skye Boulette, her dog Moose and her family, both immediate and extended; his close friends, Casey Bowden and his family, Chris Chase and his family, Cory and Bryan Ring and their family; as well as so many other friends and family who were a close part of Matt’s life.

Matthew was loved by so many here on Earth, but he is also loved by his mother, Lisa Michaud; and grandmother, Joanne Pelletier, who he is now reunited with in Heaven.
