Kudos to the citizens of Auburn and Lewiston for defeating the proposed merger of the cities.

As both Abraham Lincoln and P.T. Barnum were reportedly quoted as saying, “You can fool all the people some of the time and some of the people all the time, but you cannot fool all the people all the time.”
