Sumner church plans Thanksgiving service
SUMNER — The Congregational Church of East Sumner will serve a soup and salad supper and Thanksgiving service Wednesday, Nov. 22, at 50 Main St., Route 219.
The dinner will be served at 6 p.m. and the service will be at 7 p.m.

Reeds Mill Thanksgiving service
MADRID — The Rev. David W. Smith, pastor of the Wilton Congregational Church, will lead worship at Reeds Mill Church on Thanksgiving morning, Thursday, Nov. 23.
Reeds Mill Church, 995 Reeds Mill Road, does not have electricity, but kerosene lamps and a wood stove offer light and warmth.
This is an old-fashioned celebration of thanks, truly honoring the reason to celebrate this holiday.

Praise service at Methodist church
AUBURN — The United Methodist Church of Auburn will have a praise service at 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 25, on Park Avenue.
This music-filled service precedes the monthly bean supper, and is open to all.
