BATH — Jeffrey P. Parker, 78, of High Street died Friday, Nov. 17, at his residence.
He was born in Lewiston on Oct. 17, 1939, a son of Herbert H. and Jeanette B. (Brackett) Parker.
He graduated from Lewiston High School in 1957 and served in the U.S. Navy from 1957 to 1960. He attended Gin Electrical School in Chicago. He was employed at Bath Iron Works for 31 years, retiring in 1995 as Supervisor of Production Control. On March 9, 1981, he married Ellen M. Beckwith.
He was a member of the Phippsburg Congregational Church in Phippsburg.
He enjoyed fishing, all sports (New England fan) and community service.
He is survived by his wife, Ellen M. Parker of Bath, two daughters, Paige Bernier and her husband Michael of Lewiston, and Tiffany Caton of Sabattus; one stepdaughter, Karen Bailey of Monmouth; 6 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his sister, Paula Finch.
