RUMFORD — The River Valley Rotary Club hosted two guests at a recent fellowship luncheon. Assistant District Gov. Chris Summers joined guest speaker Michelle Worthley, director of homeless services for the Rumford Group Home, at the luncheon held at the HOPE Association on Nov. 27. 

The mission of the Rumford Group Home is to develop and administer programs to enhance the safety and quality of life for children, youth, and families through a quality, comprehensive continuum of care in the fields of social services, education, corrections, mental health and housing.

Donated items that are always needed by the group home include household supplies (paper goods and cleaning products), hygiene supplies, baby items (diapers, wipes, powder, lotion) and linens (towels, blankets, new pillows).

Donations to the Rumford Group Home can be made at 160 Lincoln Ave., Rumford, ME 04276.
