Lewiston and Auburn officials announced parking bans in both cities in anticipation of Tuesday’s snow storm.

In Lewiston, the city has issued a parking ban from 6 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 12, to 6 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 13. 

In Auburn, the ban will go from Tuesday, Dec. 12, at noon to Wednesday, Dec. 13, at 6 a.m. The city reminds motorists parking is allowed during a ban on certain streets within the downtown parking district until 11 p.m. For more information, go to www.auburnmaine.gov/CMSContent/Police/ParkingBan_Exempt.pdf.

Snowfall totals are predicted of 5 to 11 inches.
