RUMFORD — Skating is open at the Rumford rink in the Hosmer Field Complex.

Hours for the skating shack are noon to 8 p.m. on Thursdays, noon to 9 p.m. on Fridays, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturdays and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sundays.

The skating shack is closed Monday-Wednesday, but there is open skating.

When not doing maintenance, there is skating anytime after 11 a.m.

The Rumford Town Parks Department will host their annual Family Fun Day at the rink on Sunday, Feb. 4, from noon to 3 p.m. It will feature hot dogs, chips and hot chocolate for the public, along with music and good skating.
