RANGELEY — A Raymond woman injured her leg Friday morning when a snowmobile she was on rear-ended another on ITS 84 in Oquossoc village, Cpl. John MacDonald of the Maine Warden Service said.

Jennifer Hall, 42, was on the back of a snowmobile driven by her husband, David Hall, 61, of Raymond. A friend, Daniel Downe, 60, also of Raymond, was driving the snowmobile in front of them.

Downe had stopped his machine to look at a trail sign, and Daniel Hall’s snowmobile hit the back of it, MacDonald said. Hall’s machine came around sideways and Jennifer Hall’s leg ended up between the two machines, he said.

Warden Brock Clukey responded to the accident.

The snowmobilers drove Hall to Boy Scout Road and Route 16 where they met members of the Rangeley Fire Rescue Department and a NorthStar EMS ambulance. Hall was taken to Franklin Memorial Hospital in Farmington for treatment. She was no longer a patient Friday evening, a spokesman said.
