Police are investigating the death of an Orono woman whose body was found in a snowbank on Saturday morning, Feb. 3.
Foul play is not believed to have been a factor.
The body of Alexie Adams, 19, of Orono was found dead by a passerby lying in a snowbank at around 11 a.m. on Colburn Drive. Initials reports indicate that Adams had been out with friends on Friday night at several places but got separated from them at some point. Police have said they believe alcohol was a factor in her death.
Orono and Maine State Police are still investigating, trying to put together the events of Adams’ last night. Those who may have seen Adams anytime from Friday night into early Saturday morning are asked to call Orono Detective Nathan Drost at 866-4000.
