SCITUATE, Mass. — Darryl J. Pettinelli, 54, of Scituate, Mass., passed away peacefully Saturday, March 3, at home after a long battle with cancer. He was the beloved husband of Deborah (Phelps) Pettinelli, with whom he shared 29 years of marriage. He was the proud father of Max and Cal and the loving son of Carole and Damien Pettinelli, of Lewiston and Quincy, Mass., and brother of Marla Pettinelli-Brown and Jason Pettinelli.
Darryl will be missed by many caring aunts and uncles, cousins and in-laws, friends and colleagues.
He was a 1981 graduate of Lewiston High School, where he excelled at baseball and soccer. He received his bachelor’s degree from Bentley University in 1985, where he met his wife and many lifelong friends.
Upon graduation, he went on to a career in sales and management.
Darryl had a great sense of humor, and loved nothing more than laughing with family and friends.
Any free time was spent doing what he loved: traveling, watching soccer, biking or sitting on a beach.
