RANGELEY — Open auditions for “Annie” will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday, April 7, at the Rangeley Friends of the Arts Lakeside Theater, 2493 Main St.
 
Students in grades 4 and up should arrive at 3 p.m.; adults should arrive at 4. 
Roles range from leads to chorus and include some memorable cameos for smaller players.

If unable to attend this audition time, people should contact Pam Ellis, director, at 207-592-7427 for an alternative time prior to the audition date.

Production dates are June 29-July 1 and July 6-8. Shows are at 7 p.m. except for Sunday, July 8, which is a 2 p.m. matinee.
 
Rangeley Friends of the Arts is celebrating its 50th year with this family musical based on the popular comic strip by Harold Gray. “Annie” has become a worldwide phenomenon and was the winner of seven Tony Awards, including Best Musical. The beloved book and score by Tony Award winners, Thomas Meehan, Charles Strouse and Martin Charnin, features some of the greatest musical theater hits ever written, including “Tomorrow.”
