LEWISTON — Robin Serena Lyn passed away peacefully surrounded by family, Sunday, March 18, in Lewiston. She was the daughter of Charles W. and Jean P. Clark, and was born June 11, 1955. Robin lived a life of love, adventure and compassion. She grew up on the family farm in Brunswick and graduated in 1973 from Brunswick High School. She attended Bates College and later earned a degree in English at New Mexico State University.

Robin had a broad range of interests, talents and experiences: She was an au pair in England, worked with troubled teens in New Hampshire, danced classical ballet and flamenco, played bass guitar in a rock band in New York City, performed recitals on the classical violin, climbed rock faces and ice walls in the Rockies, and explored caves in the Southwest. She was a writer and a photographer, she co-owned ACT Ambulance, formed “Robin’s Nest,” which made and sold personal care products, and she tutored students in math and English.

She raised her family primarily in Lewiston, but she loved to travel the country in their RV, sharing her love of the outdoors with her children, especially the Everglades, the Rockies, Grand Canyon and White Sands. She lived at various times in New York City, Ouray, Colo., in a rustic cabin near Cloudcroft, N.M., and in Alamogordo, N.M. Most recently, she lived in Louisville, Ky.

All who knew Robin knew her to be one of the friendliest, most lovely, most compassionate persons they ever met. She would literally drive off a road while trying to save a bee; she would offer and provide help to anyone who needed it.

Greatest of all her joys were her six wonderful children, and her four grandchildren: daughter, Leiza, and her husband, Rob Greenwood, of Tiburon, Calif., and their son, Camden, of San Diego; daughter, Tabitha, and her husband, Easton Wheatley, and their daughter, Skye, of Lewiston; son, Nicholas Biron, of Lewiston; daughter, Sabria Ingram, and her husband, Alex, and their two children, of Louisville, Ky.; son, Cruz Berrisford, of Louisville, Ky.; and son, Blake Berrisford, of Alamogordo, N.M.

She is also survived by her mother, Jean Clark, of Brunswick; brother, Bruce Clark, also of Brunswick; brother, Chad Clark, and his wife, Carol, of Readfield, and their son, Matthew, and his wife, Amy, together with their two children, of Topsham, and their daughter, Sarah, and her husband, Alex Kapiloff, of Surry, N.H.; and brother, Jon Clark, and his wife, Joyce, of Woolwich.

No immediate service is planned. Condolences may be sent directly to family members, or donations may be made in memory of Robin to your favorite charity or to Friends of the Bosque del Apache National Wildlife Refuge via the website http:www.friendsofthebosque.org/.
