LEWISTON — The Lewiston Auburn Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and the Central Maine Human Resource Association are offering a human resources workshop, from noon to 1:30 p.m. Thursday, April 26, at the chamber, 415 Liston St.
Kristen Kellner, KMA Consulting, will present “Discipline and Performance Management — Keeping and Growing the Best.”
Discipline is all about helping employees understand where the guardrails are when it comes to their performance and their behavior in the work environment. Leaders, managers and supervisors who are consistent, provide immediate and constructive feedback and follow a solid, disciplined process can more quickly steer poor performance back on course and encourage productive work habits.
Kellner is chief learning officer at KMA Human Resources Consulting, responsible for overseeing the learning strategy and needs for a variety of client populations.
HR Thursdays human resources seminars cost $25 for chamber members, $50 for nonmembers and are free for CMHRA members. Registration is available at www.LAMetroChamber.com. For questions, call 207-783-2249.
