DURHAM — Acacia Lodge, Route 136, will have a baked bean supper from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Saturday, April 14.

FARMINGTON — Old South First Congregational Church will serve its monthly free community luncheon of roast pork at noon Saturday, April 14.

Delivery service will be available in Farmington. Call the church office at 207-778-0424 during the week or the church kitchen at 207-778-4438 on the morning of the lunch to have a meal delivered.

JAY — A baked bean supper will be served from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday, April 14, at North Jay Grange 10.

Cost will be $8; children 10 or younger, $3. Music will be provided by Hal Burhoe and Friends.

LEEDS — Leeds Community Church will serve the annual pork supper to benefit the Leeds Food Pantry from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday, April 14, at the church, 123 Church Hill Road.

LEWISTON — The monthly baked bean supper will take place at 4:45 p.m. Saturday, April 14, at Calvary United Methodist Church.

Those attending should use the garden entrance on Bartlett Street. The cost is $8 for adults and $3 for children.

LIVERMORE FALLS — Emmanuel Assembly of God free monthly luncheons with soups, casseroles and salads are served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the second Saturday of the month at the American Legion Hall, 17 Reynolds Ave.

The lunch is open to the public.

MEXICO — A ham dinner will be served at 5 p.m. Saturday, April 14, at the Mexico Congregational Church, UCC (the “Green Church”). 

The price is $8 for adults and $3 for children under 12. Take-out will be available at 5:30; call 207-364-8603.

Following the meal, an auction of whole dessert pies to take home will be held.

MERCER — There will be a turkey pot pie supper at the Mercer Community Center from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Saturday, April 14. The cost is $7 a person, $3.50 for children under 12.

The building is handicapped-accessible. Proceeds will support the Mercer United Methodist Church.

OTISFIELD — The East Otisfield Free Baptist Church will serve an oven-fried chicken community supper with apple pie for dessert from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday, April 14, at the church on Rayville Road off Route 121.

The meal is free, but donations will be accepted to support activities in the local community.

AUBURN — William J. Rogers Post 153, American Legion, will serve a breakfast buffet from 8 to 10 a.m. Sunday, April 15, 71 South Main St.

Cost will be $7; under 10, $4.

AUBURN — The Andy Valley Knights of Columbus, Council 8742, and the Immaculate Heart of Mary Organ Fund Committee will co-sponsor a spaghetti dinner following the 11 a.m. Mass Sunday, April 15, at Sacred Heart Church, corner of Minot and Western avenues.

The proceeds of this dinner will be split, with half going toward the Pipe Organ Fund at Sacred Heart and half going to the Knights’ charities. Price is $8 for adults ages 12 and older, $6 for children ages 6 to 11 and free for children younger than 6.

Tom Cremona, PGK, will serve his famous sauce. Being a true Italian, Cremona’s home-made sauce is an old family recipe which he has been perfecting for over 30 years.

FARMINGTON — The Farmington Baptist Church serves free fellowship luncheons at noon on the third Sunday of the month at 194 Whittier Road.

LISBON FALLS — A pancake breakfast will be held from 8 to 10 a.m. Sunday, April 15, at Ancient York Lodge 155, Masonic Hall, Oak Street.

OTISFIELD — A community lunch will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 18, at Community Hall, 292 Route 121. The lunch is free, but donations will be accepted.

The menu will include baked ham, scalloped potatoes, peas, salads, cake, coffee and tea.

RUMFORD — Oxford County Democratics will serve a spaghetti supper on Thursday, April 19, at the Rumford Eagles, 129 Rumford Ave.

The social hour will be from 5 to 6 p.m. The meal will be served at 6 p.m. Cost per meal is $10.

Those attending can meet the Oxford County Democratic candidates for county and state positions.

WATERFORD — The Wilkins House’s community potluck supper will be served at 6 p.m. Thursday, April 19, at the meetinghouse, 15 Plummer Hill Road beside the Waterfod Congregational Church.

The last supper will be held on May 17.

Those attending should bring a dish to share. Everyone is welcome.

NORWAY — The Second Congregational Church serves its free monthly supper from 5 to 6 p.m. on the third Friday of the month at 205 Main St.

INDUSTRY — A vegan potluck and the movie, “Hope,” will be held at 5:30 p.m. Friday, April 20, at the Industry Town Hall.

Those attending are asked to bring a vegan dish or a whole food plant-based dish to share. Everyone who is interested in learning the benefits of a whole food plant-based diet is welcome.
