FARMINGTON — An Industry man and his girlfriend were arrested this week after he was charged with giving his son marijuana and she tried to get the teen to change his statement to police, Franklin County Sheriff Scott Nichols Sr. said.

Jason Hawkins, 37, was charged with felony aggravated furnishing of a scheduled drug to a minor, Nichols wrote in a news release.

Hawkins’ girlfriend, Eileen Patrick, 34, also of Industry, was charged with tampering with a witness, the sheriff wrote.

Hawkins was released from the Franklin County Detention Center on $500 bail Tuesday. Patrick was released Wednesday on $1,500 cash bail.

A conviction on the drug charge is punishable by up to five years in prison and a fine of up to $5,000.
