This is in response to a Sun Journal article (April 24) titled “Livermore Falls recreation funding questioned.”

Just to set the record straight, Rural Community Action Ministry (RCAM) does not serve alcohol at its meetings.

In the fall of 2017 at Boothby Farms in Livermore, RCAM participated in a wine tasting fundraising event where 100 percent of the proceeds were donated by the Boothbys to Rural Community Action Ministry. But that was a special event.

RCAM staff and board members do not serve alcohol at their meetings.
