TAMPA, Fla. — Lewiston’s Isaiah Harris headed back to the NCAA Division I track and field championships Friday at the East Preliminaries.

Harris, a junior at Penn State, will compete in the championships in Eugene, Oregon, next week.

Harris finished the men’s 800-meter run in 1 minute, 46.8 seconds, coming in second behind Mississippi State freshman Marco Arop (1:46.7).

This is the third consecutive year that Harris has qualified for the national championship meet.
