Gary McGrane will get my vote for Maine Senate in the Democratic primary on June 12. He has lived in Jay for 40 years and raised his three children here, has worked in Jay and knows the people here, and currently serves the people of Jay as a town selectman and knows the issues here.
More noteworthy, though, is that he served as a Franklin County Commissioner for 28 years and, through that service, he came to know not only the people and issues of Jay but also the people of Franklin County and surrounding areas, and the issues people live with in this greater community.
As senator representing Senate District 17 that includes every town in Franklin County plus the towns of Belgrade, Fayette, Mount Vernon and Vienna, Gary McGrane will uphold residents’ interests because he knows the people; he is one of us.
Lynn Ouellette, Jay
