MOUNT VERNON — Six alumni from National Public Radio’s show “From the Top” will perform at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, July 1, the Mount Vernon Community Center on Minnehonk Lake.
The concert will feature classical and popular music on violin, cello, piano and voice. Following the concert, there will be a fireworks display over Minnehonk Lake.
Tickets are sold out for indoor seating; however, those interested are encouraged to bring blankets or chairs and sit outside on the lawn to listen.
Donations will be accepted in support of the 30-Mile River Watershed Association and the Parker Pond Association. FMI: www.30mileriver.org/ or www.parkerpond.org/.
