LIVERMORE FALLS — Residents approved a $2.5 million budget Tuesday and elected two selectmen and one RSU 73 director.

The closest race was for a three-year seat on the Board of Selectmen, with incumbent Nixon Ortiz defeating Ron Chadwick 252-251.

In a race for a two-year seat on the Board of Selectmen, challenger Sarah Flagg beat Tom Barker 321-191.

Incumbent Ann Schwab, running unopposed, was re-elected to the RSU 73 board of directors.

Residents were asked if they wished to explore having a fire substation in the section of town known as East Livermore. The matter passed 272-230.
